Man accused of two Whitby break-ins facing 75 charges

A man is facing 75 charges after two break-ins in Whitby.

Durham police were called about a break-in near Thickson Road and Burns Street East around 7:15 p.m. August 25.

They say the man got into the home after stealing a garage door opener overnight.

Numerous items were taken, including jewellery, credit cards and bank cards.

The man is also accused of breaking into a parked car and stealing bank cards in Whitby on August 16.

Police say he used the stolen bank cards at numerous locations.

Nathan Paddock, 32, of Oshawa was arrested September 10 and faces 75 charges including break and enter, fraud under $5,000, theft under $5,000, use stolen credit card, possess stolen credit card, possession of property obtained by crime and fail to comply with undertaking.
